When shopping for your spray foam insulation kits you may be tempted to drive up to your local Home Depot or Lowes and just get your product there. After all, that is easy and quick – you can get started on your project right away. And you don’t have to pay shipping, so that’s a win, right?
Well, not so fast!
Before you do that there are a few things to consider. Let’s go over them.
Where are the lowest priced spray foam insulation kits?
Of course price matters. With very, very few exceptions everybody wants to get the best deal they can.
I actually had one customer, the CEO of a very large company tell me “Price is not important.” With a billion dollar company on his hands he just wanted to be sure he got an excellent product.
(He did. And he keeps coming back for more.)
Of course you want an excellent product also, but if you are like most people, the cost does matter. It sure does to me.
So let’s take a look at the cost of a spray foam insulation kit at the big box stores and compare them with Foam Kit Solutions.
We offer 2 basic all purpose spray foam insulation kits, the Handi-Foam Quick Cure Closed Cell Spray Foam Kit, and the Handi-Foam Closed Cell Spray Foam Kit – E84 Class 1. Both excellent all purpose products, the difference between them is that the E84 Class 1 certified kit has been tested to be E84 Class 1 fire retardant.
The 605 Bd. Ft. kits are our most popular products, our price is $590 for the Quick Cure, and $570 per E84 Class 1 kit.
The equivalent 600 Bd Ft. version of our Quick Cure kit at Lowes or Home Depot will run you $734 + tax. You know they keep a close eye on each other, so of course the price is the same.
Interesting that neither Lowes or Home Depot offer an E-84 Class 1 kit.
And note that you can’t just head around the corner to pick it up. You have to wait for them to deliver it to the store, so I guess you will just have to wait a few days before you can get started on your project.
Maybe there’s some good tv to binge watch while you wait.
Yes, you will have to pay shipping when you get it from us, but we only charge tax in the state of Ohio. We are still cheaper!
And we charge a flat shipping rate, so if you buy 2 you save even more. If you buy 3 or more we knock $20 off the price of each kit, so you save a lot more!
That means when you buy 3 kits you save an additional $60. Buy 4 and save $80! Buy 5 of our excellent 605 kits and save $100…and so on. You get the idea.
Service and Essential Expertise
Another reason why you should think twice before going to the big box stores for your spf is that if you have any questions they are not going to be able to help. Sure you can call Home Depot and ask for some guidance on spraying those joists, but odds are you are not going to get reliable accurate info.
At Foam Kit Solutions, spray foam is what we do. It’s what we have done since 2006, and it’s all that we do. It’s all that we want to do.
Questions? Advice? Need any help at all? Just a give us a call. We answer the phone and we’ll spend as much time as necessary making sure that you are equipped to properly use the kit, to apply the foam in just the right way, and to do it safely.
We care and we share our knowledge because we don’t just want to make the sale. We also want to be sure that your project is a success.
After all, it’s only right.
Conclusion
So if you are shopping around trying to figure out the best place to buy your SPF kits, take these points into consideration.
We are cheaper, and we are there when you need us. And we are proud of these things.
The big box stores are great. Just last week I bought a new drill at Home Depot, and i’m very happy with that purchase. But for a specialized product like a DIY Spray Foam Insulation kit you are better of off with us.
It’s that simple.
